Description
I'm an independant game developer in Norwich, UK. My goal is to create games that are nonviolent and suitable for all ages.
History
Early historyI've been programming since my early teens, and though I loved games, I never saw it as something I could have a career in. After leaving Sixth Form, I taught myself web development and tried freelancing, but struggled with a lack of confidence. I was briefly employed full-time as a web developer for a local company, until I suffered a nervous breakdown in early 2013. Around that time I discovered , and after participating for a couple of months, I decided to try and create games for a living.
F!shingAfter a couple of false-starts with games that I wasn't happy with, I began on F!shing in January 2014. It's a simple arcade-style game designed to be simple and accessible to learn, but allow for skilled play with practice. It was released as a Beta in May 2014, with a full release on August 9th 2014.
FutureMy favourite games are city-builders and the like, where the fun comes from experimenting with the game systems and gradually growing from nothing. I'm hoping to create something along those lines next!
